From July 17 to 18, Liu Jiaqiang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of CECEP, visited Songxian County, Luoyang City, Henan Province, to conduct research on targeted assistance work.
Liu Jiaqiang conducted on-site inspections at various locations, including the Zhongyuan Medicine Valley Science and Technology Park, Shichang Village, the “Energy-saving Town,” the Jiugao Town Project of CECEP Wind-power Corporation (CECWPC), and the CECEP Techand Ecology Yihe Project. He assessed the effectiveness of the targeted assistance efforts and the current status of the projects, visited the monitored poverty-stricken households, and engaged in detailed discussions with CECEP’s dispatched cadres.
Liu emphasized that CECEP will thoroughly study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s key instructions on targeted assistance and follow the decisions and plans set by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council regarding the rural revitalization strategy. By leveraging the insights from the “Thousand-Village Demonstration, Ten-Thousand-Village Renovation Project,” the focus will be on crucial areas and elements of Songxian County’s rural revitalization.
Efforts will include actively integrating both internal and external resources, aligning closely with Songxian’s specific conditions, and making substantial contributions in areas such as Party-building, industrial support, educational aid, and employment assistance. By utilizing the full industrial chain advantages of energy conservation and environmental protection, CECEP will enhance cooperation with Songxian in sectors such as clean energy, health industries, and system governance. The goal is to help Songxian transform its green and low-carbon advantages into competitive and developmental strengths, thus fully supporting the county’s economic and social development as well as its rural revitalization efforts.
Attending the research visit were Xin Junfeng, Secretary of the Songxian County Committee, Ren Qingpeng, Deputy Secretary of the County Committee and County Chief, relevant leaders from the County Committee, County Government, and County People’s Congress, as well as personnel from the CECEP’s Party and Mass Work Department, CECWPC, and CECEP Techand Ecology.
