On April 10th, CECEP Eco Product Research Center (hereinafter referred to as the Research Center) assisted in the successful international Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) certification of mechanical safety devices for oil drilling platforms. This marks the first EPD certification for export products in this field domestically. 

The international EPD certification system, based on international standards such as ISO 14025, ISO 14040 and ISO 14044, provides an environmental information declaration document independently verified by third parties. EPDs facilitate international recognition of product environmental performance declarations in terms of data and methodology, gradually becoming a robust support for export enterprises to overcome green trade barriers. In this EPD certification, the Research Center independently undertook consulting work, utilizing a full life-cycle assessment approach combined with advanced software tools, databases and modeling techniques to complete the EPD report, contributing to enhancing the international brand influence and recognition of the products.
