On April 19th, the 2024 Ecological Product Value Realization Innovation Conference, hosted by the People's Government of Suzhou City, Anhui Province, and organized by CECEP Ecological Product Development Research Center, was held at Suzhou University. The conference, themed "Improving the Mechanism for Ecological Product Value Realization to Support the Transformation of Lucid Waters and Lush Mountains into Invaluable Assets", aimed to deeply implement Xi Jinping Thought on Ecological Civilization. It facilitated comprehensive and multi-perspective exchanges on innovation in ecological product value realization mechanisms, exploration of paths, and enterprise practices. Song Xin, Secretary of CECEP Party Committee and Chairman, was invited to attend the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. He witnessed the signing ceremony of the tripartite cooperation agreement between the People's Government of Suzhou City, CECEP Ecological Product Development Research Center and Suzhou University.

Song Xin pointed out that China's economic and social development has entered a stage of accelerated greening and low-carbonization, emphasizing high-quality development. The construction of ecological civilization is still in a critical period of compounded pressure and moving forward with heavy burdens. CECEP will fully leverage the leading role of central enterprises, actively participate in the construction of ecological civilization in Suzhou, and engage in extensive and practical cooperation in areas such as innovation in ecological product value realization mechanisms, construction of green and low-carbon parks, ecological environment restoration and governance, development and utilization of clean energy, and solid waste treatment. Together, the green, low-carbon and high-quality development of the economy and society in Suzhou and even Anhui Province will be promoted.

Prior to the meeting, Song Xin held talks with Yang Jun, Secretary of the CPC Suzhou Municipal Committee. They had in-depth discussions on areas such as the realization of ecological product value, energy conservation and emission reduction, the application of computing power scenarios, and ecological environment monitoring. Both sides expressed their unanimous desire to further deepen practical cooperation, establish a batch of replicable, promotable and sustainable cooperation outcomes, achieve mutual benefit and win-win results, and actively contribute to the high-quality development of the economy and society in Suzhou.

The meeting and research were attended by Cao Huabin, member of the Group Company's Party Committee and Deputy General Manager, as well as heads of the Office, the Cooperation Department and the Research Center.
