On March 17th, the hospital restoration and renovation project in Sindhupalchok District, Nepal, undertaken by CQEC, successfully passed the completion acceptance with an excellent rating.
The hospital project in Nepal covers approximately 3790 square meters in total area. It includes the construction of a new hospital complex, a water pump room, a medical waste temporary storage station, and a generator shed. Outdoor facilities were also constructed, and some medical furniture and equipment were provided. The project started in September 2022 and completed the acceptance inspection in March 2024.
As one of the 25 projects for post-disaster reconstruction aid from China to Nepal, the completion of this small yet significant livelihood project will further enhance the local medical environment. It will provide better medical services for approximately 60,000 residents, serving as a testament to the friendly cooperation between China and Nepal.
The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) in Nepal has sent a commendation letter and awarded a medal to the company, highly praising the project design and management work. They congratulate the company on passing the completion acceptance with excellent results. The successful implementation of the project fully demonstrates the company's comprehensive strength in foreign aid projects. It reflects the company's active fulfillment of the social responsibility of central enterprises, enhancing the company's international reputation and influence.
