On December 5th, the Climate Investment and Financing Side Event of the China Pavilion at the 28th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP28) was held in Dubai. Du Le, Deputy General Manager of CECEP, was invited to attend the event and delivered a keynote speech.
Du Le pointed out that addressing climate change and low-carbon transition has become the necessary path for the development of all countries. China has actively fulfilled its international obligations under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change and the Paris Agreement. China has taken strong policies and actions, making positive contributions to global efforts in addressing climate change. CECEP will continue to uphold the development philosophy of openness, cooperation, innovation and sharing, accelerate the construction of a world-class enterprise, and work together with all sectors of society to promote the innovative development of green and low-carbon industries. Together, we will support the early realization of national goals for peaking carbon emissions and achieving carbon neutrality.
