On the morning of February 17th, the first meeting of the first session of Council for Central Enterprises ESG Alliance and ESG Seminar for Central Enterprises hosted by the Central Enterprises ESG Alliance and China Enterprise Reform and Development Society (CERDS) was held in Beijing. Song Xin, Party Secretary of the Group Company and Chairman, attended the meeting and made a speech.

In his speech, Song Xin pointed out that the main business of CECEP is highly compatible with the ESG concept. It has always insisted on integrating ESG concept into all aspects of corporate development, leading high-quality development with ESG concept, and striving to protect the environment, build ecological civilization and serve people's livelihood.

Song Xin said that as a central enterprise mainly engaged in energy conservation and environmental protection, CECEP has resolutely implemented Xi Jinping's thought of ecological civilization, consciously practiced the concept of "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets", and taken "making the sky bluer, mountains greener and water clearer, and making life better" as its mission to make contributions to promote the development of energy conservation and environmental protection in China . First, to focus on the main responsibility and business, and actively serve the major national strategies, continue to optimize the "3 + 3 + 1" business pattern, and constantly improve the ESG comprehensive service capacity, and fully assist with the "double carbon" goal. Second, to strengthen the sense of mission and closely integrate the ESG concept with CECEP social responsibility to contribute to pandemic responses, the Winter Olympics and the revitalization of the countryside. Third, to focus on benchmarking, deeply integrate ESG concept into corporate governance, continuously strengthen risk control, improve quality and efficiency, and reform state-owned enterprises, highlight the implementation of the key work of the "Year of Capacity Enhancement", and accelerate the construction of a world-class energy-saving and environment-friendly industrial group.
