The 2021 “Zero-Carbon China” Summit on Carbon Neutrality and the Fourth China Energy Investment and Development Forum were recently held in Beijing. Yang Zhongxu, vice president of CECEP Solar Energy Co., Ltd., was invited to attend the event, and signed on behalf of his company a strategic cooperation framework agreement with the Energy Investment Committee of the Investment Association of China (IAC) on building a “Zero-Carbon China.”
The forum is the first event themed on “carbon neutrality” ever held by the energy industry since the launch of the “Zero-Carbon China” initiative in January 2020. As China’s first listed company focusing on solar energy power generation while being engaged in solar battery package manufacturing, CECEP Solar Energy will carry out cooperation with the IAC Energy Investment Committee to build zero-carbon hi-tech cities, zero-carbon communities, zero-carbon schools, zero-carbon hospitals, etc. and make joint efforts to step up the “Zero-Carbon China” initiative, and make contributions to accomplishing the country’s goals of peaking its carbon emissions by 2030 and achieving carbon neutrality by 2060.
