The first China-Central Asia Summit will be held in Xi 'an, Shaanxi Province from May 18 to 19. Central Asia, where the Belt and Road Initiative was first proposed, is also a demonstration zone for high-quality Belt and Road cooperation. Over the past 10 years since the Belt and Road Initiative was put forward, China and the five Central Asian countries have been actively coordinating their development strategies and achieving fruitful results in high-quality Belt and Road cooperation.
CQEC actively responds to the Belt and Road Initiative, vigorously implements the internationalization development strategy, relies on capable engineering design and project management, gives full play to its advantages in technology, talent, management and other foreign aid projects, and actively undertakes engineering projects in Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and other Central Asian countries. It has made positive contributions to the high-quality development of the Belt and Road Initiative.
Camel Group (Uzbek) Battery Co., Ltd. started the harmless recycling and treatment project of lead-acid battery and waste battery for automobile, which is located in the Angren Free Economic Zone of Uzbekistan, covering an area of about 300 mu and a building area of 55,000 square meters, which includes battery production workshop, injection workshop and warehouse, recycled lead workshop, comprehensive office building, shift dormitory and other buildings. CQEC undertakes the project design task. After the project is fully completed, it will become the largest recycling plant for automobile batteries and used batteries in Central Asia.
The engineering design project of the new electrical equipment plant of Tajikistan Tigem, located in Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan, covers an area of 70,000 square meters, with a construction area of nearly 50,000 square meters, and new facilities such as metal structure workshop, switch electrical workshop, solar water heater workshop and elevator workshop. CQEC undertakes the preliminary design, construction drawing design and on-site technical service of the project. After the implementation of the project, it will further promote the international production capacity cooperation between China and Tajikistan and promote the export of China’s advanced technology, process, equipment and materials.
The project of supporting the animal and plant inspection and quarantine center in Kyrgyzstan is located in Chuy Province, Kyrgyzstan, covering a total land area of about 15,000 square meters and a total construction area of about 6,300 square meters. The construction includes animal inspection and quarantine laboratories, plant inspection and quarantine laboratories, animal and plant disease prevention and control laboratories, office buildings, etc. CQEC is responsible for the preparation of the project feasibility study report. Through the on-site investigation by CQEC experts, a comprehensive analysis and demonstration of the necessity, technical feasibility, economic rationality and environmental impact of the project construction was carried out and a high-quality investigation report was proposed.
After more than ten years of development, CQEC's overseas business scope has covered 28 countries and regions including Asia, South America, Europe and Africa, with a total of more than 50 foreign aid projects implemented, accumulating rich experience in overseas engineering project construction and management.
