On June 29th, the 19th China Western International Expo was held in Chengdu. With the theme of "New Era of China, New Journey for Western China", the event focused on high-level opening-up, deepening regional exchanges and cooperation, and serving the construction of modern industrial systems. Song Xin, Secretary of the Group's Party Committee and Chairman, was invited to attend the opening ceremony.

At the 12th Western China Investment Promotion Fair and Contract Signing Ceremony of Economic Cooperation Projects, Song Xin stated that several western provinces and cities, including Sichuan, have been committed to the integrated protection and systematic governance of mountains, rivers, forests, farmlands, lakes, grasslands and deserts, and have made significant achievements in coordinating pollution control, ecological protection and industrial restructuring. In the future, CECEP will actively deepen cooperation with Sichuan, Gansu, Guizhou, Xinjiang, Qinghai and other regions in the fields of solid waste treatment, clean energy development and utilization, water pollution prevention and control, and actively participate in the construction of ecological civilization in the western region, contributing to the formation of a new pattern for the development of the western region. 

During his visit to Sichuan, Song Xin held working talks with Tian Qingying, Vice Governor of Sichuan Province, and Feng Sheng, District Mayor of Qingyang, Chengdu City, to communicate and exchange ideas on deepening cooperation between CECEP and Sichuan Province in the field of energy conservation and environmental protection.
