CQEC professional strengths supporting quality development of Egypt's power transmission and transformation industry

Recently, CQEC won the bid for the EGEMAC Capacity Expansion and Construction Project. The company is mainly responsible for project scheme design and construction drawing design.

The project is located in the Ain Sokhna Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone in Suez Province, Egypt, including the transformation and upgrading of the existing transformer plant, as well as the construction of a joint production plant and supporting office facilities. The joint production plant includes a dry type transformer workshop, a surge arrester workshop, a three-story auxiliary production building, etc. After the transformation and upgrading of the transformer plant, it will have the capacity of assembling and testing 500kV transformers. After the completion of the joint plant, it will meet the production and testing requirements of dry type transformers, porcelain housed surge arresters and composite jacket surge arresters.

After the project reaches production, it will annually add 10 units of 500kV power transformers, 500 units of 33kV and below dry type transformers, and 3650 pieces of 500kV and below porcelain housed surge arresters, GIS surge arresters, and composite jacket surge arresters. This will significantly improve the production efficiency and market competitiveness of the company, and contribute to the high-quality development of Egypt's power transmission and transformation industry.
