On October 23, Liao Jiasheng, Chairman of CECEP, met with Lin Zhengdao, Global Senior Advisor and General Manager of the Global Chairman’s Office of Sinar Mas, at CECEP headquarters. The two sides held in-depth discussions on strengthening practical cooperation in the field of energy conservation and environmental protection. CECEP Deputy General Manager Du Le attended the meeting.

Liao Jiasheng extended a warm welcome to Lin Zhengdao and his delegation and introduced CECEP’s core business development. He noted that as a central enterprise focusing on energy conservation and environmental protection, CECEP has long been dedicated to its main business sectors, including energy conservation and clean energy supply, ecological and environmental protection, resource recycling, new energy development and equipment manufacturing. Over the years, the Group has accumulated extensive practical experience and technological advantages and is actively advancing the internationalization of its environmental business. Liao expressed satisfaction with the existing cooperation between CECEP and Sinar Mas and emphasized that the next step should focus on deepening strategic collaboration, expanding cooperation fields and promoting joint projects in areas such as wind power, photovoltaics, zero-carbon factories, solid waste treatment and wastewater management, to contribute to building a cleaner and more beautiful world. 

Lin Zhengdao expressed sincere appreciation for CECEP’s warm reception and provided an overview of Sinar Mas business development. He said that as a global leader in integrated forestry, pulp and paper operations, Sinar Mas places green and low-carbon development at the core of its strategy and has a strong demand for cooperation in zero-carbon park development, energy conservation technologies and resource recycling. Sinar Mas looks forward to further expanding and deepening its cooperation with CECEP based on their current projects in wind power and other areas, working together to create a new model of mutually beneficial partnership. 

The meeting was also attended by Du Jiangong, Special Assistant to the President of Sinar Mas; Jiang Peng, Global General Manager of Technology and R&D; and heads of relevant offices in China. Representatives from CECEP’s Strategy Department, Cooperation Department, CECEP Wind-power, CECEP Solar, CECEP Building Energy Conservation, CNEPG and General Water of China also joined the meeting.
