As a Southern African country, Lesotho places great importance on transport infrastructure development, which is vital to its economic growth and improvement of people’s livelihoods. Teyateyaneng, as a key hub in Berea District, has an existing transport network that can no longer meet the region’s development needs. The planned 13.5-km ring road will connect several residential areas and industrial functional zones. Once completed, it will effectively ease urban traffic congestion, improve the efficiency of goods transportation, and inject fresh momentum into the development of commerce, agriculture, and tourism along the route.

CGC will leverage its technical expertise and project management experience in road design and construction, advancing implementation in strict compliance with Lesotho’s local construction standards and international engineering norms. During construction, priority will be given to hiring local workers and providing skills training to enhance their professional capabilities, thereby effectively contributing to local livelihood improvement. Simultaneously, ecological protection will be prioritized to ensure the project develops in harmony with the local environment, delivering tangible benefits to the people of Lesotho at an early date.
