On March 21, Liao Jiasheng, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of CECEP, met with Xu Kunlin, Deputy Secretary of the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee and Governor of Jiangsu Province, in Nanjing. The two sides held in-depth discussions on deepening strategic cooperation and advancing green and low-carbon development in Jiangsu.

Governor Xu Kunlin extended a warm welcome to Liao Jiasheng and his delegation, expressing gratitude for CECEP’s active contributions to ecological conservation and local economic development in Jiangsu. He emphasized that Jiangsu will further accelerate the construction of clean energy-integrated zero-carbon parks, actively expand initiatives in the dual-carbon and data resource sectors, explore innovative applications in solid waste treatment, refine policy frameworks, and strengthen technological innovation to promote cleaner energy structures, greener industries and smarter management within industrial parks. He expressed hope that CECEP would leverage its comprehensive strengths in the energy conservation and environmental protection industry chain to fully integrate into Jiangsu’s socioeconomic development and jointly advance the province’s new practices in Chinese-style modernization. 

Liao Jiasheng introduced CECEP’s core businesses and its operations in Jiangsu. As a central enterprise dedicated to energy conservation and environmental protection, CECEP has always prioritized Jiangsu as a key strategic region. He stated that the Group will deepen collaboration with Jiangsu in wind and solar power development, solid waste treatment, big data services, ecological environment governance and restoration, eco-product value realization, and green circular transformation of industrial parks. Through concrete actions, CECEP aims to support Jiangsu’s high-quality green and low-carbon development while fostering mutual benefits.  

The meeting was attended by Lü Deming, Secretary General of the Jiangsu Provincial Government; Cao Huabin, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of CECEP; Zheng Zhaohui, Chief Economist of CECEP; as well as representatives from CECEP’s Cooperation Department, CECEP Wind-power, CECEP Data Co., Ltd., CECEP Building Energy Conservation Co., Ltd., and other relevant units.
